Richard Childress Racing Continues Partnership with Pfizer Inc. for 2017 NASCAR XFINITY Series Season

Richard Childress Racing (RCR) is continuing its partnership with Pfizer Inc., a premier innovative biopharmaceutical company, for the 2017 NASCAR XFINITY Series season. Pfizer Inc. will feature brands Nexium® 24HR ClearMinis and Advil with primary paint schemes for driver Ty Dillon throughout the 2017 XFINITY Series season. This will be the third season of partnership between RCR and Pfizer Inc.

To celebrate the release of the new Nexium® 24HR ClearMinis, the brand will be the primary sponsor of the No. 3 Chevrolet Camaro at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the spring race at Bristol Motor Speedway. Dillon will pilot the No. 3 Advil Chevrolet Camaro during the fall races at Charlotte Motor Speedway and Phoenix International Raceway.
“We are pleased to continue our partnership with Pfizer Inc.,” said Richard Childress, Chairman and CEO of RCR. “The Nexium® 24HR brand provides frequent heartburn relief to millions of people every day and Advil supplies pain relief to millions of loyal consumers as well. As a team owner, I know that various members of our team have a need for each product.  Some days can be more painful than others, and we have the right partners for that. We enjoy having Nexium® 24HR and Advil products on our cars and in our race shop for our teams to use in their everyday health care routines.”
Dillon will race a partial schedule in the XFINITY Series this season, running 27 of 33 races. In 2015 and 2016, Pfizer Inc. sponsored two races each season for Dillon in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
“Pfizer has been a terrific partner for RCR and me over the past two years,” said Dillon. “I am glad that we could bring Nexium® 24HR ClearMinis and Advil into our No. 3 Chevrolet program this season. We have built a strong XFINITY Series program, and it makes it even better when we can race with supportive and engaged partners.”
