Jordan Anderson Partners with Urban Carry & Precision Performance Motorsports for Ford EcoBoost 300

NASCAR XFINITY and Camping World Truck Series driver Jordan Anderson will join forces with Precision Performance Motorsports (PPM) to compete in this Saturday’s Ford EcoBoost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The XFINITY Series’ season finale will mark Anderson’s fifth XFINITY Series race of the 2016 season and first with the PPM team. Urban Carry partners with Anderson as title sponsor of the No. 46 Chevrolet Camaro.

Precision Performance Motorsports is proud to welcome Urban Carry Holsters to the No. 46 team. Urban Carry Holsters are proudly made in the USA and represent a new breed of concealed carry holsters. Unlike traditional holsters, the Urban Carry offers deep concealment and protection without sacrificing comfort and versatility. Whether you are wearing shorts or dress pants, access to your concealed carry is anything but slow. Each of our holsters are made from the finest quality saddle-grade leather and saddle-grade nylon products and then are hand sewn, individually, to allow a level of attention to detail unparalleled anywhere in our industry. The Urban Carry genesis initially came in 2014 with a meeting of three incredible minds – a craftsman, a visionary, and an integrator. These three came together to create a revolutionary idea for the deep concealed carry holsters that we have today. The goal was to create a holster that could truly withstand the rigorous use of daily wear while being comfortable while seated. This has led to Urban Carry experiencing an unprecedented expansion and popularity within the concealed carry industry thanks to an ongoing commitment to comfort, quality, workmanship, and affordable products.

The 25-year-old South Carolina-native, Anderson, is no newbie to the NASCAR touring series, having raced in NASCAR top divisions since his Camping World Truck Series debut in 2014. Anderson got his start in racing since the age of eight, transitioning into Legends and late models as his career progressed. He made a K&N Pro Series East start in 2013 while wrapping up a business and marketing degree from Belmont Abbey College. He moved on to the Truck Series, racing partial schedules from 2013 to 2016, plus a handful of NASCAR XFINITY Series races. The Ford EcoBoost 300 will mark Anderson’s sixth XFINITY Series race. Additionally, he will be pulling double-duty, competing in the Ford EcoBoost 200 Friday night.

“My 2016 racing season has been an amazing journey thus far”, said Anderson. “I’ve been very fortunate to have the support of so many people in my constant strive to be on the racetrack every weekend and represent my fans and hometown of Columbia, SC in the best way possible. I love our sport, and each chance that I get to be a part of it is an incredible honor. The opportunity to race for the Gdovic family, and everyone at Precision Performance Motorsports in the XFINITY Series’ season finale at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, is nothing short of a blessing to be able to end this year on a high note and build momentum looking forward to 2017.

It’s been a humbling experience to see the pieces come together for this weekend’s race, and I’m grateful to everyone at PPM for helping to make it happen. The timing of Urban Carry and their line of concealed carry holsters coming on-board for their first sponsorship in NASCAR in their home state, and everyone else that has taken a part in making this all possible has been nothing short of perfect. Ever since I made my debut in the Truck series back in 2014, the entire reason why I’ve been able to stay in this sport is not any one thing that I’ve been able to do, but the people behind the scenes supporting me in everything that I work towards passionately. When I first talked to (owner) Rick Gdovic back in the early months of 2016, we talked at length about driving for the team one day – and this weekend to see it become a reality, it’s truly exciting.

“The whole Precision Performance Motorsports team and I are excited to have Jordan race for us in the last race of the season,” said PPM General Manager Brandon Gdovic. “We believe Jordan will be a great asset to our team and we’re happy to have someone as well respected as him join our team.”

The Ford EcoBoost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway gets underway at 3:30pm ET on Saturday, November 19th.
