Ryan Preece drove to a 22nd-place finish in Saturday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge Xfinity Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.
Driving the Turnkey Construction/Turnkey Charities Chevrolet, Preece turned a 25th-place qualifying spot into a fine run, scoring a finish that kept him 17th in Xfinity Series points.
“My experience at this track is still slight,” Preece said, “but we were able to put together a good race. The car went where I wanted it to go, and we got in some good runs. I’m looking forward to coming back here.”
