Death Wish Coffee to Sponsor Ty Dillon at Dover International Speedway

Death Wish Coffee, “The World’s Strongest Coffee,” will serve as primary sponsor of Ty Dillon for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway on Oct. 2, 2016.

Death Wish Coffee, a privately-owned coffee manufacturer and distributor based in Albany, New York, will be featured on the No. 95 Chevrolet SS Circle Sport/Leavine Family Racing entry. The partnership marks Death Wish Coffee’s first NASCAR sponsorship.

“I’m really not a morning person, so I enjoy a cup of coffee to get me moving,” Dillon said. “Death Wish Coffee has mastered the blend of beans and its roasting process to produce the perfect cup. Now, they’re trying to spread the word about the ‘World’s Strongest Coffee.’ Our partnership will help Death Wish Coffee reach new customers, grow its brand and amplify its message.”

Founded by Mike Brown in 2012, Death Wish Coffee was engineered in Brown’s small coffee shop in Saratoga Springs, New York, after customers asked for a stronger, bolder brewed coffee. Death Wish’s sales took off earlier this year when they won Intuit Quickbooks’ Small Business Big Game Competition, beating out 15,000 small businesses to win a fully-funded 30-second commercial spot in the 2016 Super Bowl broadcast.

“NASCAR fans have the type of appreciation for their sport that you don’t find anywhere else,” Brown said. “Our purpose is to fuel people’s passion. So, with this partnership, we want to reach the most passionate community on the planet and tell that we want to be their coffee brand of choice. They deserve the world’s strongest coffee and Death Wish Coffee can be the fuel they need to give them that extra kick to take on the day.”

Dillon, who competes full-time in the NASCAR XFINITY Series and is in contention for the driver championship, has made eight starts in the Sprint Cup Series in 2016 – five for Circle Sport/Leavine Family Racing and three as a relief driver for the injured Tony Stewart for Stewart-Haas Racing.
