Ross Chastain scored a 24th-place run in Saturday’s Axalta 200 Xfinity Series race at Phoenix International Raceway.
Chastain started 19th after running the 10th-fastest speed in Saturday’s first qualifying round.
Chastain stayed in 16th place in the Xfinity driver standings.
“The car was great in qualifying,” Chastain said. “We got in some strong laps. Fell back a little bit early in the race but still got a pretty good day out of it. We’ll go on to California and be better there.”
