NXS: Kyle Busch Victorious at Kansas Speedway

Kyle Busch scored the victory on Saturday afternoon in the Kansas Lottery 300 at the Kansas Speedway. Busch held off hard charging Matt Kenseth in a green-white-checker finish to capture his fifth win of the 2015 NASCAR XFINITY Series season. The Las Vegas native now has 45 career victories in the series.

Matt Kenseth will walk away with the runner-up finishing position in his No. 20 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. The Wisconsin native captured the pole and led a total of 154 laps of the afternoon. He and Busch were the only drivers to lead the field all afternoon long.

Joey Logano will sneak away with a third-place finish in the No. 22 Team Penske Ford. Logano started the afternoon in 10th and stayed around the top 10 all race long. The native of Connecticut now holds eight top five and 10 top 10 finishes through 11 XFINITY Series starts.

Daniel Suarez showed some strength all throughout the Kansas Lottery 300 in his No. 18 ARRIS Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. Suarez started the afternoon in sixth and took his ride to a ninth-place finishing position when the race ended. The native of Mexico will go into the weekend off still searching for that first XFINITY Series victory. He has eight top five and 15 top 10 finishes and sits seventh in the point standings.

Chris Buescher will continue leading the NASCAR XFINITY Series driver standings by 27 points over Chase Elliott. Regan Smith will go into the off weekend sitting third in points. The New York product is 33 driver points behind the leader. Ty Dillon and Darrell Wallace Jr. round out the top five.

The Texas Motor Speedway serves as the next stop on the NASCAR XFINITY Series tour. The race will take place on Saturday, November 7th. Fans can watch the race at 4:00 p.m. ET. on NBC and NBC Live Extra. The Performance Racing Network will carry the radio broadcast.
