Ross Chastain will race for the fourth time in the Xfinity Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Friday night’s Drive For The Cure 300.
Chastain finished 31st in the May Xfinity race at CMS after his Chevrolet was hit with engine problems.
“I like the track at Charlotte,” Chastain said. “I’ve had some good runs there (he finished ninth in a Truck race at CMS in 2013). When you get your setup right, you can turn some good times there. We’re looking forward to going back.”
Chastain is 15th in Xfinity driver points entering the 29th race of the season.
