Kinman Chevrolet Joins Rhodes, JDM Team For Kentucky

Team JD Motorsports with Gary Keller announced Thursday that Herb Kinman Chevrolet of Carrollton, Ky., will be supporting the team this weekend at Kentucky Speedway for Saturday’s VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300.

Owner of Herb Kinman Chevrolet, Becky Kinman, has chosen to support JDM because of the efforts of the team, with the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety (KOHS), to spread awareness for safe driving both on a national and local level in Kentucky. Driver Ross Chastain and the KOHS paid a visit Thursday to Carroll County High School, where Kinman’s son,, Case is a member of the student council, to educate students about safe driving practices. Chastain will also visit a local Kroger and the Kinman dealership Thursday afternoon.

Team owner Johnny Davis is pleased to see the team’s message getting attention.

“I see way too many young people out on the roads with a phone in front of them, not wearing a seat belt, or doing other things that put their lives at risk,” says Davis. “If we can touch the lives of just a few students this weekend in Carroll County, Kentucky, then that means lives have been saved. I am very thankful that the Kinmans see our message as something they too believe in and want to support.”

Herb Kinman Chevrolet will be the primary sponsor on the No. 0 Chevrolet of Harrison Rhodes and the associate sponsor on Ross Chastain’s No. 4 for Saturday night’s race. Their Carrollton Chevrolet dealership, near Louisville, carries the full line of new Chevy cars and trucks.
