Blake Koch and Celsius Team Up Once Again at Daytona International Speedway

TriStar Motorsports and their Official Energy Drink partner, Celsius, will join forces once again for the Subway Firecracker 250 at Daytona International Speedway. Blake Koch will pilot the No. 8 Celsius Healthy Energy Camry under the lights on July 4th.

Celsius is the world’s first negative calorie, healthy energy drink. Scientific data shows that by drinking Celsius, consumers can burn 100 extra calories or more with an active lifestyle. Upon working out, Celsius will increase consumer’s metabolism, provide healthy energy, reduce 93% body fat and improve endurance. Koch has been a brand ambassador for Celsius since 2014.

“We are excited to be racing the Celsius Healthy Energy car with TriStar Motorsports and are proud to be associated with NASCAR driver Blake Koch,” stated Gerry David, CEO, Celsius Holdings.  “This partnership provides Celsius with the opportunity to communicate to NASCAR fans, who are looking for healthy alternatives to soft drinks, that Celsius energy drinks deliver great taste and burn 100 calories or more per serving with an active lifestyle.”

Blake Koch has 6 starts at the 2.5-mile oval. With an average finishing position of 24.0, Koch is ready to get back on track at Daytona International Speedway. Koch finished 20th at DIS earlier this year after having to go to a back-up car after a wreck during qualifying. The last time Koch piloted the No. 8 Celsius Healthy Energy Camry was in Atlanta earlier this year and finished 22nd.

“I am really excited to have the Celsius Healthy Energy paint scheme on my Toyota Camry next weekend in Daytona,” said Koch. “Celsius has been a great partner of ours and I look forward to representing their company during the July 4th race weekend. My No. 8 team has put together a fast Camry and I am ready to race under the lights in my home state!”
