Ross Chastain will make his first Richmond International Raceway start in Friday’s ToyotaCare 250 Xfinity Series race.
In his first full season in the Xfinity Series, Chastain has had an excellent start. He is 13th in driver points entering Friday’s eighth race of the year.
“It’s another first-time track for me,” Chastain said. “But, from what I’ve seen of Richmond, I really like it. You can run fast laps there, but the racing is close and exciting. I’m looking forward to it.”
Chastain has top-25 finishes in five of the first seven races.
