With the end of the Nationwide Series season in sight, Landon Cassill rolls into Phoenix International Raceway this weekend with a solid goal – a top-10 finish.
Cassill will drive the Flex Seal Chevrolet for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller in Saturday’s DAV 200, the next-to-last race on the Nationwide schedule.
“We’ve had a good year for our small team,” Cassill said. “We’ve had some good runs and a couple of top-10 finishes. We want to score at least one more before the season’s over.”
Cassill is 12th in Nationwide driver points entering Saturday’s 200-mile race.
Practice sessions are scheduled at PIR at noon and 3:10 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is set for 12:45 p.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 4 p.m.
