David Starr and Whataburger Team up At Texas

David Starr will partner once again with San Antonio, Texas-based Whataburger for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway. Starr will be behind the wheel of the No. 44 Whataburger Toyota Camry for TriStar Motorsports on November 1st.

“David Starr has a long history of racing in Texas, and Whataburger is proud to partner with him as part of our sponsorship of the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Texas Motor Speedway,” said Rich Scheffler, Whataburger’s VP of Marketing and Innovation. “We can’t wait to see him in action and wish him the best of luck as he competes.”

Earlier this season, Starr piloted the No. 44 Whataburger Camry at Texas Motor Speedway and brought home a 15th place finish. With over 40 starts across NASCAR’s top three national series at the 1.5-mile speedway, Starr is ready to race this weekend at his home track.

“I am excited to be racing the signature orange Whataburger car at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend,” said David Starr. “It is an honor to have Whataburger back on the No. 44 Toyota Camry especially in Texas. Their burgers are a fan favorites here and it’s really cool to partner up with them at my home track. There is nothing better than a Whataburger hamburger.”

Live coverage of the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge will air on ESPN2, PRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio at 3:30 p.m. EDT on Saturday, Nov. 1
