EVENT NOTES

Corey Heim will pilot the No. 26 GEARWRENCH Toyota GR Supra in the ToyotaCare 250 on Saturday afternoon at Richmond Raceway. Heim has competed in two NXS starts with Sam Hunt Racing in 2024 and looks to continue to have another strong performance this weekend at one of the organization's historically best tracks.

Richmond Raceway is considered Sam Hunt Racing's home track as the team's early days in the late model and ARCA divisions started in central Virginia.
Sam Hunt began his racing career out of a humble race shop in Chesterfield, Virginia and frequented the .75-mile track throughout his childhood.

Sam Hunt Racing has a rich history at Richmond Raceway scoring two Top-5 finishes in only four starts at the track.

Heim is coming off a historic start at Phoenix Raceway, scoring a third-place qualifying run which solidified the organization's highest qualifying effort in its history.

The ToyotaCare 250 will mark Heim's first NXS start at Richmond Raceway.
Additionally, Heim has collected two top-10 finishes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Richmond Raceway.

GEARWRENCH will serve as the primary partner on board of the No. 26 GR Supra.

QUOTES
“I’ve really enjoyed racing at Richmond in the past. It’s a unique track that provides challenging and fun racing. Richmond is also historically one of Sam Hunt Racing’s best tracks, so I have full confidence that we will be able to compete at a high level this weekend. Sam and the GEARWRENCH guys have been working hard to get our GR Supra ready, and I’m looking forward to seeing it all play out this weekend.”
