Landon Cassill returns this weekend to the site of one of his best performances of the Nationwide Series season.
In mid-May, Cassill finished 10th in the Get To Know Newton 250 at Iowa Speedway. It was one of the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller team’s highlight races of the season.
On Saturday, Cassill will carry the Theisen’s Home-Farm-Auto colors on the No. 01 Chevrolet as he tries to match – or better – his May performance in the U.S. Cellular 250.
“The first race at Iowa this year was amazing,” Cassill said. “It was one of the best cars we’ve had all year, and everything went our way. We’re looking for more this week.”
Cassill is 11th in Nationwide driver points.
