Although still early in his NASCAR career, Jeffrey Earnhardt has a relatively busy worksheet at Daytona International Speedway.
Earnhardt, running his first full Nationwide Series schedule for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller, has raced in five Nationwide and one Camping World Truck Series event at the legendary 2.5-mile track, known as the World Center of Racing.
He finished seventh in the Truck series race at DIS in 2011 and has a top run of 19th in Nationwide events.
“It’s all about drafting at Daytona, and if you can get hooked up with the right group you can fly,” Earnhardt said. “I’m sure we’ll have a strong race car there. Hopefully, we can make some noise.”
Earnhardt is 17th in Nationwide driver points entering the Subway Firecracker 250.
