Chad Boat Races to Texas with RedFest

For Billy Boat Motorsports (BBM) and driver Chad Boat, Daytona seemed like eons ago.  The wait ends on Friday night as the 21-year old “Rising Star” will make his second start of the season piloting the No. 84 RedFest Chevrolet in the running of the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway.

“I am more than ready to get to Texas and steer this No. 84 RedFest Chevrolet,” said Chad Boat.  “It has been hard watching these last few weeks, but we know the importance of preparation. We tested at Nashville Speedway a few weeks back and this brand new car was awesome.  I also learned a few things that will help me this coming week in Texas.  I want to thank my guys for all of the hard work they have put into building this car and all of us at BBM look forward to a great performance for RedFest.”

RedFest is a three day celebration of music, comedy, reality tv, camping, hunting, fishing and loads of hands-on activities for people who work hard, play harder and love the outdoors.   Held at the Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, RedFest offers some of the biggest headliners in music and comedy as well as fun outdoor activities for the entire family.  RedFest is a festival for anyone who loves the outdoor lifestyle.

“I am excited to get back to Texas Motor Speedway and watch Chad Boat champion the No. 84 RedFest Chevrolet this weekend,” said Jeff Foxworthy.  “Both Chad and RedFest, my music and comedy festival taking place in Austin over Memorial Day weekend, are in their Rookie seasons and looking to make a statement. As such, we collectively understand the time and energy that goes into the preparation leading up to the event, as well as the pressure and excitement that surrounds event day itself. On behalf of the entire RedFest team, we wish Chad the best of luck this weekend!”

Boat, from a legendary racing family, will be making his second career start in the NASCAR Nationwide Series.  He and the Billy Boat Motorsports team made their debut at the season opening event in Daytona where the 21-year old brought home his No. 84 Chevrolet safely to a 24th-place finish.

“Needless to say Chad and the entire BBM team are ready to get to Texas,” added Billy Boat, team owner of Billy Boat Motorsports.  “We continue to build and grow our race team and to have the support of an event like RedFest is awesome.  All of us look forward to entertaining Jeff Foxworthy and having him a part of the BBM team on Friday night.”

Also supporting the Billy Boat Motorsports team at Texas include sponsors Front Row Tailgating, CorvetteParts.net and Hyatt Place Stockyards – the official hotel of the team for their Texas stay.
