Fire Alarm Services & JRM Join “Paint the Track Pink” Program

JR Motorsports will “go pink” this weekend at Kansas Speedway, as Regan Smith’s No. 7 Fire Alarm Services Chevrolet and Brad Sweet’s No. 5 Great Clips Chevrolet will feature bright pink paint schemes aimed at raising awareness and funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

The paint schemes are part of the “Paint the Track Pink” initiative – a month-long effort by Lionel NASCAR Collectibles that involves multiple teams and drivers.  Portions of the proceeds from “Paint the Track Pink” die-cast sales will benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation.  Images of the cars can be viewed at JRMracing.com and the Paint Scheme Preview section of NASCAR.com.

“We are very excited to not only be a part of JR Motorsports and Regan Smith, but also to participate in the opening weekend of Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” said Connie Smith, president and owner of Fire Alarm Services, Inc.  “Our hope is that race fans across the country understand the importance of this program and lend their support to help raise money for this great cause.”

The Kansas Lottery 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race is this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN.

“There is tremendous support from the NASCAR community during Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” said Kelley Earnhardt Miller, general manager of JR Motorsports.  “It’s a cause that’s near and dear to many of us because almost everyone knows someone who has been affected.  JR Motorsports is excited to be part of this program and we’ll do our best help raise awareness and funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.”

Based in the Denver suburb of Arvada, Colorado, Fire Alarm Services, Inc. provides customers with a single provider for all their fire alarm, electrical, security and fire suppression needs.  Fire Alarm Services, Inc. joined the JR Motorsports team this year as a key partner.  The Kansas event marks its second primary paint scheme with Smith and the No. 7 Chevrolet.

Smith has two wins this season and three wins overall for JR Motorsports.  He is locked tightly in the Nationwide Series championship battle, as he is just 43 points out of the lead in fourth place with five races to go.  Sweet has two top-10s in 12 starts, as he has split time in the No. 5 Camaro this season with six drivers, primarily Kasey Kahne.

“Paint the Track Pink” die-cast cars are now available for pre-order through LionelRacing.com, the NASCAR.com Superstore, and authorized die-cast dealers.
