Cassill 19th at Dover

Landon Cassill scored a top-20 run in the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller No. 4 Chevrolet Saturday in the 5-Hour Energy 200 Nationwide Series race at Dover International Speedway.

Cassill qualified 20th and advanced as high as fifth during pit-stop cycles. He finished 19th. “It was a pretty good day for the team,” Cassill said. “We had a balanced car and could run pretty well with much of the field. There weren’t a lot of cautions, so there wasn’t much time to adjust on things.”

The race was slowed by only two cautions, and the last 160 of the 200 laps were run under green.

Joey Logano won the race, leading 106 laps, including the final 59, but his car failed post-race inspection.

Five races remain on the Nationwide schedule. Kansas Speedway is next Oct. 5.
