Pillow Pets and Trevor Bayne Ready for “Indy Invasion”

In addition to a hundred thousand race fans, thousands of Pillow Pets are set to invade Indianapolis next week when the NASCAR Nationwide Series rolls into the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Pillow Pets will once again serve as the primary sponsor on Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne’s No. 6 Ford Mustang, as the Pillow Pets look to take over Indiana’s capital city.

“We are excited to have Pillow Pets on board in Indianapolis with us,” said Bayne. “It looks like we are going to have a lot of fun with these guys next week. Indianapolis Motor Speedway is an iconic venue and I can’t think of anything better to cap off the ‘Indy Invasion’ than taking the No. 6 Pillow Pets Ford Fusion to the Brickyard victory lane.”

In addition to the on-track festivities, Bayne will throw out the first pitch at the Indianapolis Indians’ baseball game on Friday night (July 26), with the first 1,500 fans set to receive a free Pillow Pet.

Throughout the race weekend, Roush Fenway social channels will highlight the Pillow Pets’ trek through Indianapolis that will include stops around the city’s most recognizable landmarks. Fans are encouraged to monitor the Invasion for chances to win their very own Pillow Pet.

And for a limited time, Pillow Pets will launch a special promotional code that will give customers $6 off any purchase at www.pillowpets.com.

Bayne and the Pillow Pets will also make special stops at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Kids Zone on Saturday afternoon.

The team and Pillow Pets will hold a press announcement live from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway media center on Friday (July 26) that will air live on Roush Fenway’s award-winning Google+ channel.
