North American Power to Sponsor Kligerman’s No. 77 Camry at New Hampshire

North American Power – one of the fastest-growing energy suppliers in the country – will team up with one of the fastest drivers in the NASCAR Nationwide Series for the New England 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon on Saturday, July 13. The New England based company has signed a one-race deal to be the primary sponsor of Connecticut native Parker Kligerman and his No. 77 Toyota Camry fielded by Kyle Busch Motorsports for his homecoming event.

Kligerman, who is in his first full-time campaign in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, currently ranks sixth in championship standings with two top-five and five top-10 finishes across 12 starts. The 22-year-old driver enters this weekend’s race at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn having reeled off nine consecutive top-15 finishes. Overall in 30 career starts in NASCAR’s second division, he has one pole, two top-five and 10 top-10 finishes. In his lone start at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, he qualified 19th and finished 18th in the 2011 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event.

 

“I was already really looking forward to going back to New Hampshire Motor Speedway and now that I have a New England based company onboard as my sponsor it makes it that much more exciting,” said Kligerman, the only New Englander who competes full-time in the Nationwide Series. “The neat thing is that my mom was one of North American Power’s first customers — so I know firsthand the money that they save their customers, how dedicated they are to providing homegrown renewable energy and the amazing things they do for charity. They are also the official power supplier of New Hampshire Motor Speedway, so it would make it that much sweeter for everyone involved if we can put our No. 77 North American Power Camry in victory lane.”
