Officials at Prairie Meadows Racetrack, Casino & Hotel in Altoona announced that their support of Iowa Speedway’s annual ARCA Racing Series event will continue for the 8thconsecutive racing season in 2013.
Slated for Saturday night, September 7, the ‘Prairie Meadows 150’ will cap off a season-long promotion of the horse racing, gaming, concerts, restaurants and upscale hotel at ‘Iowa’s Favorite Place to Play’. In addition to the ARCA event title sponsorship, Prairie Meadows will be featured at all 2013 Iowa Speedway events through on-site signage, special activities and displays.
“Prairie Meadows and Iowa Speedway are both in the business of entertaining our guests, and we are very pleased to continue promoting our own brand of entertainment at the speedway this year,” said Gary Palmer, President and CEO of Prairie Meadows. “Iowa Speedway’s customers are often our customers, and vice versa, so it’s a natural ‘fit’ when we work together.”
In addition to the promotional activities at Iowa Speedway, Prairie Meadows will provide the Newton motorsports facility with signage and special promotions surrounding horse racing, casino, hotel and concert events at the multi-faceted entertainment complex in Altoona
