Pocono Raceway today announced their inaugural “Show Us Yer Rack Trophy Contest,” a fan-generated competition where hunters can share images of their harvested racks. The largest harvested racks will be eligible for a Grand Prize package and the largest homegrown Pennsylvania buck will set a limited-time ticket discount, open to all race fans.
The Grand Prize, which will be for the largest overall harvested rack, will win two Terrace Bistro Tickets to a 2013 race of choice at Pocono Raceway. In order to be eligible for this prize, submitted photos must include a Pocono Raceway item or signage. This can come in the form of a Raceway shirt, hat or, even as simple as, a piece of paper with the words “Pocono Raceway 2012 Show Us Yer Rack Contest” on it.
The Largest Homegrown Rack, which is the largest rack harvested in Pennsylvania, will determine a ticket discount percentage available to all fans! When submitting photos the Pennsylvania hunting tag must be visible in the photo to be eligible to set the discount. Discount will be set, up to 20% off, for select seats to the Pocono 400 and the Pennsylvania 400.
The Consolation Prize will be randomly selected from all of the entries to win two tickets to a 2013 Pocono Raceway event of choice, no matter the size of the trophy. Special consideration may be given to creativity in the display of the photo!
