Pocono Raceway announced today the creation Pocono Raceway Fan Council, a 20-member board to be comprised of race fans to assist “The Tricky Triangle” staff in developing and improving overall fan engagement. Applications for the 2013 Pocono Raceway Fan Council are now being accepted.
“We always say our race fans are the best in all of motorsports.” said Brandon Igdalsky, President and CEO of Pocono Raceway. “The Fan Council will be a great addition to helping us generate and create the best overall experience for the most important people in our world, the race fans. This council will play an integral role in future plans, both at, and away from, the Raceway.”
The Pocono Raceway Fan Council will complete surveys, meet quarterly (either in person or through conference calls) and assist with promotional events throughout the year. Members of the inaugural Fan Council will be selected to a term of one year.
Race fans interested in applying for the 2013 Pocono Raceway Fan Council can download and submit an application by visiting www.poconoraceway.com/fancouncil. Applications are due by Friday, December 21, 2012. All applicants must be over 18 years of age or older.
