Kansas City Chiefs ambassadors signing autographs prior to Hollywood Casino

Joining the festivities surrounding the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway, several Kansas City Chiefs Ambassadors are scheduled to sign autographs on Sunday, Oct. 21 in Sprint FanWalk beginning at approx. 9:30 AM for one hour.

“I’m looking forward to having the Chiefs Ambassadors join us at Kansas Speedway and be a part of the Hollywood Casino 400,” said Kansas Speedway President Patrick Warren.

Kansas City Chiefs Ambassadors scheduled to participate are Walter White, Dave Lindstrom, Deron Cherry, Keith Cash, Ed Budde, Shawn Barber and Billy Baber.

Information on the Ambassadors scheduled to participate:

Baber was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2001, after being drafted by the Florida Marlins out of high school. Baber was a part of the record setting return teams with Dante Hall and a member of the Kansas City Chiefs team in 2003 that began the season with nine consecutive victories, a franchise record.

Barber played for four NFL teams during his career, including from 2003-2005 with the Chiefs. In 2003, he ranked second on the team with 141 tackles and was tied for second on the team with five sacks.

Budde was named to the AFL’s all-time team by the Pro Football Hall of Fame and was a starter for each of the Chiefs two Super Bowl teams.

Cash was a tight end for the Chiefs and was considered a playoff star for the team where he ranks third on the Chiefs all time playoff receptions and receiving yards list.

Cherry is a six time Pro Bowl player, including a five time starter for the Kansas City Chiefs. He was selected to the Chiefs 25-Year All-Time team in 1987.

Lindstrom was a defensive end whose service was invaluable to the cohesiveness of the defensive line. He retired in 1986.

In White’s debut for the Chiefs, his first catch was for a touchdown. Following his rookie year, Walter was awarded the Mack Lee Hill Award by his teammates.
