NASCAR Drivers, NBC Analysts Preview the Bank of America ROVAL™ 400

With the second running of the Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 less than two weeks away, some of NASCAR’s biggest stars have already contemplated their strategies for winning one of the most hotly anticipated races on the calendar.

Before the drama builds to a crescendo on Sept. 29 at America’s Home for Racing, the above link contains interviews with drivers and analysts about competing on the 17-turn, 2.28-mile ROVAL™:

  • Aric Almirola, driver of the No. 10 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford
  • Bubba Wallace, driver of the No. 43 Richard Petty Motorsports Chevrolet
  • Matt DiBenedetto, driver of the No. 95 Leavine Family Racing Toyota
  • Christopher Bell, driver of the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota (NASCAR Xfinity Series)
  • Chase Briscoe, driver of the No. 98 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford (NASCAR Xfinity Series)
  • Jeff Burton, NASCAR on NBC analyst and former NASCAR driver
  • Steve Letarte, NASCAR on NBC analyst and former NASCAR crew chief

“What can they expect? They can expect to be shocked,” Letarte said. “They can expect the pressure of the Playoffs in a cutoff race at a race track where the notebook is only one race thick, with a completely different downforce package and a completely different chicane on the backstretch. Expect the unexpected.”
