Join and Register: IMS Museum’s Shop Tour Series Visit to Don Schumacher Racing Filling Quickly!

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum’s popular Shop Tour Series visits Don Schumacher Racing, the winningest team in National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) drag racing history, on August 20 and you’re invited to an unforgettable high-horsepower experience.
Don Schumacher Racing (DSR) is graciously opening its doors to the IMS Museum – for members as well as future Museum members – for two in-depth, behind-the-scenes tours of its 145,000 square-foot headquarters in Brownsburg, Ind., just 20 minutes west of IMS.
IMS Museum Shop Tour Series guests will see the preparation area and fabrication shop for the 11,000-horsepower, fire-breathing nitro cars as well as but the Don Schumacher Motorsports, a state-of-the-art performance parts manufacturing hub featuring 24 CNC machines.
The VIP morning tour, reserved for current IMS Museum members, begins at 9:30 a.m. (ET) and has a few seats remaining. The three-hour afternoon tour, starting at 2 p.m., is open to current and future members – current non-members will receive a one-year IMS Museum Teammates-level membership with tour registration.
Don Schumacher, himself a successful drag racer in the 1970s and entrepreneur, founded DSR in 1998. The team currently fields seven teams in the NHRA Top Fuel and Funny Car professional classes and has won more than 330 NHRA national events in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle – the only team to do so. DSR has won a record 17 national championships to date.
