Terre Haute Action Track Cancels June 22 Event Due To Weather

The tough spring/early summer has continued for outdoor events as heavy rains throughout the week with more on the way, has forced the cancellation of Saturday’s AMA All-Star National Flat Track Series event at the Terre Haute Action Track.  The event was set for June 22.

Heavy rainfall throughout the week, in addition to more set to come through on Friday and Saturday, has forced Terre Haute Action Track officials to pull the plug on the return of motorcycle racing to the ½-mile.  Motorcycles returned to race at the Action Track, for the first time in many years, during the 2018 season.

Officials are double checking schedules to see if a make-up date can be found.  If one is available, information will be put out in the near future.

The next event on the Terre Haute Action Track schedule will be Friday, June 28 as the World Of Outlaw Morton Buildings Late Model Series will face off against the DIRTcar Summer National Late Models.  The rare head-to-head event will be joined by the Summit Modified Nationals.  The event was run for the first time in 2018 with a strong field of cars and great racing.
