Grandview NASCAR Point Standings and Racing Schedule For Saturday, April 27

The chase for the lucrative NASCAR and track titles in the T.P.Trailers NASCAR Modifieds and the T.P.Truck Equipment Sportsman is underway. With just two official point races in the Modified record books Brett Kressley is flexing his muscles with a win and a fifth place finish to his credit giving him 578 points. And in the T.P.Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman point chase Kyle Lilick is on top with 467 counters and no feature wins. In fact the top five in the point standings for the Sportsman have not cracked victory lane.

Sprint cars will be in action for the first time this season when the Delaware Auto Exchange Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series, featuring 305 Sprint racers, is part of a big tripleheader show of auto racing at Grandview Speedway on Saturday, April 27th, that will also include T.P.Trailers 358 Modifieds and T.P.Truck Equipment Sportsman. Racing gets the green flag at 7 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m.

Expected to see action in the Sprint car action are such popular racers as recent feature winner Bryant Davis, Rick Stief, Tim Tanner, Tom Carberry, Jeff Geiges and a host of others.

Each division of racing will include a full series of qualifying events leading up to the feature races.

Adult admission is $18 while youngsters under the age of 12 are admitted free. Pit admission is $30.

Fans arriving early will have the opportunity to see a number of race cars up close and talk with a few of the racing talents as part of Low Down And Dirty Meet & Greet near the main grandstand entrance starting at 4:30 p.m. This Saturday Richie Hitzler will represent the Modifieds and Kyle Smith will be there for the Sportsman. The Sprints will be represented by Joe Kay.
