After seeing South Lot Camping sell out for both race weekends in 2018, Martinsville Speedway is expanding the reserved camping area, by adding 23 more spaces for 2019.
The spaces, which will accommodate motorhomes up to 45 feet in length, are on sale now and cost $200 for the week.
“We knew there was a demand for more reserved camping, but after seeing it sellout so quickly for both events last year, we realized we needed to expand it even further,” Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell said. “We are always looking for ways to improve the facility and to be able to meet the growing demand for large motorhomes is one of them.”
The South Lot Camping is located near Gate 17 off of Old Sand Road. In addition to being within sight of the Speedway, it is also convenient to shopping and food along Highway 220.
The STP 500 race weekend is March 22-24.
In addition to camping, tickets are on sale now and may be purchased by calling 877.RACE.TIX or online at www.martinsvillespeedway.com.
