Richmond Internatio​nal Raceway to Participat​e in 2012 All Henrico Reads

Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Richmond International Raceway and Henrico County Public Library are teaming up to host a luncheon featuring special guest Garth Stein, author of the New York Times bestselling book, The Art of Racing in the Rain.

The luncheon, which runs in conjunction with the Henrico County Public Library’s 2012 All Henrico Reads program, is set for Thursday, April 5, at 12:00 noon in the Richmond International Raceway TORQUE Club

Tickets for the luncheon are $40 and are available now for purchase through PayPal at www.henricolibrary.org/ahr/lunch.  All attendees will be eligible to win a free Pace Car ride around the track!

As an added bonus, NASCAR K&N Pro Series East drivers, CJ Faison and Chesterfield, VA native Sam Hunt will be on hand as special guests to promote the April 26, Blue Ox 100 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race at Richmond International Raceway.

In addition to the luncheon, The Henrico County Public Library, in partnership with Henrico County Public Schools, the Friends of Henrico County Public Library and the Henrico Education Foundation will host Garth Stein for a special presentation from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Glen Allen High School, 10700 Staples Mill Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060. This event is free and open to the public. Seating will be first come, first served.  Doors will open at 6:15 pm.

Come early and stay late, as all guests will have the opportunity to purchase copies of The Art of Racing in the Rain, as well as take part in a book signing with Stein.
