Attention Race Fanatics! Visit Talladega’s Interactive Fan Zone Has a Little Something for Everyone

Talladega Superspeedway’s Fan Zone is ready to showcase a ton of fun for the entire family this weekend for fans coming to the track’s tripleheader weekend featuring the GEICO 500, Sparks Energy 300 and General Tire 200.

In addition to hosting the greatest racing on the planet, fans can kick their race weekend into high-gear by taking care of all their merchandise needs for their favorite drivers and teams at the Fanatics NASCAR Trackside Superstore. Set to make its return for the fourth straight race at NASCAR’s Biggest and Baddest track, the store is in the Fan Zone, located behind the grandstands near Turn Four.

“Both Talladega Superspeedway and NASCAR are constantly trying to offer the best fan experience in sports,” Talladega Superspeedway Chairman Grant Lynch said. “With Fanatics as a partner, we have found the right company to provide the best product in an incredibly unique shopping area. Fanatics brings a large assortment of items, along with incredible designs and brand new inventory to our events here at Talladega. They know what’s hot on the merchandise market, and I believe that race fans are going to be ecstatic with what they’ll find in the superstore once again this weekend.”

The Fanatics shopping area (just look for the huge white tent) has over 50 drivers represented, from Monster Energy NASCAR Cup and NASCAR XFINITY Series drivers to legends of NASCAR. Dale Earnhardt Jr., making his final GEICO 500 start this weekend, is the most popular driver in the Fanatics tent, having sold the highest volume of merchandise to date.

In addition to an incredible selection of NASCAR driver merchandise, specialty areas are in place, representing series sponsor Monster Energy, New Era Caps, and the new Disney Cars 3 movie. Once fans select their merchandise, they’ll proceed to the checkout tent, a 40 ft. X 80-foot space that contains 60 cash registers, providing fans with little or no wait in completing their purchase.

While the Fanatics NASCAR Trackside Superstore is the race fan’s one-stop-shop for all their merchandise needs, the Fan Zone contains even more excitement, featuring over 29 displays.
