Scouts Can Earn Special Badge with Talladega Superspeedway’s Multiple Scout Ticket Offers

For the fourth consecutive year, Talladega Superspeedway is proud to offer Scouts and their families the chance to purchase special Scouts Ticket Packages – with exciting new incentives for Talladega’s triple-header race weekend, May 5-7.

The new 2017 Scouts Program gives various Scouting troops/packs/groups who purchase the ticket offers the chance to compete for group participation in pre-race activities. They include leading the Pledge of Allegiance on the driver intro stage and assisting with the holding of a giant American flag in the tri-oval grass during the National Anthem on Sunday, May 7, prior to the GEICO 500. Scouts will also raise the American Flag on pit road each morning – Friday through Sunday.

Three different two-day ticket packages are offered and all include:· Grandstand tickets for both Saturday’s Sparks Energy 300 NASCAR XFINITY Series and Sunday’s GEICO 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series events

· FREE, secure “Scouts Only” campground monitored by Talladega Superspeedway security located outside the track behind Turn 2

· Alcohol free campgrounds that open Monday, May 1 and close Monday, May 8 at 11a.m. (CDT). Area located near shower house and grandstands.

· Scouts receive special TSS Event Scout Patch

· Exclusive Question & Answer session and photo opportunity with NASCAR driver in campground

A Two-Day Scout Ticket Package is $10 for Scouts 12-and-under, while adult tickets are only $50. This package includes grandstand tickets to both the Sparks Energy 300 on Saturday and the GEICO 500 race on Sunday at NASCAR’s biggest and baddest track.

In addition to the regular Two-Day Scout Ticket Package, there are two incredible upgrade opportunities.

The Two-Day Scout Ticket Package with FanVision is only $35 for the Scouts 12-and-under and $75 for adults. This package includes grandstand tickets and a FanVision rental for both Saturday and Sunday events. One additional headset for each device can be purchased for $5.

The Two-Day Scout Ticket Package with Sunday Pre-Race Pit Pass is the perfect option for Scouts and their families who want to experience more up-close action Sunday. It allows access to pit road to see the cars and crews as they work to set up for the GEICO 500. Not only do these fans get the pits’ sights and sounds, but also have access to watch the drivers walk the red carpet at the entrance of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Driver’s Meeting. The cost is $45 for Scouts and siblings 12-and-under, and $85 for adults.
