Elvis Costello & The Imposters to Play The Classic Amphitheater at the Richmond Raceway Complex

Richmond International Raceway (RIR) and AEG Live announce Elvis Costello & The Imposters will perform at The Classic Amphitheater at the Richmond Raceway Complex on June 20 at 8 p.m. Costello brings the “Imperial Bedroom & Other Chambers” tour to Richmond as part of The Classic Amphitheater’s 25th Anniversary season.

Elvis Costello’s “Imperial Bedroom & Other Chambers” tour takes songs from the 1982 album, “Imperial Bedroom” as the starting point for the concert. Standout songs from the album include “Beyond Belief”, “Almost Blue” and “Man Out of Time.” These timeless classics have remained in Costello’s repertoire throughout the years.

The Imposters join Costello on the tour, and help add to the evening. The band includes Pete Thomas on drums, Davey Faragher on bass and vocals, Steve Nieve on piano and keyboards, and accompanying vocalists Kitten Kuroi and YahZarah. With the band’s renditions of various classic songs, the pairing with Costello makes for an unforgettable show. A special guest for the show will be announced at a later date.

“The first concert announced as part of our partnership with AEG Live continues to build the history of The Classic Amphitheater,” said RIR President Dennis Bickmeier. “For the 25th Anniversary season of The Classic Amphitheater, we are honored to celebrate with the iconic Elvis Costello.”
