Kansas Speedway President Patrick Warren’s statements on Carl Edwards and Daniel Suarez.

Carl Edwards:

“Carl Edwards has been a great ambassador for NASCAR throughout his career and I have tremendous respect and admiration for him. Whenever someone with his character and integrity decides to move on, it is a loss for the sport. My only regret for him is that he wasn’t able to win at Kansas Speedway during his Cup career because I know how much it meant to him to have success at our track.”

Daniel Suarez:

“I’m looking forward to having Daniel Suarez compete at Kansas Speedway in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. It’s exciting to have another young driver join the series and as the 2016 NASCAR XFINITY Series champion, I know Daniel will have a successful Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series career.”
