The following is a statement from Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage on Prosper, Texas native Chris Buescher’s first NASCAR Sprint Cup victory earlier today at Pocono.
“‘Hear that noise?’ That’s all 12,000 people in Prosper, Texas celebrating Chris Buescher’s first NASCAR Sprint Cup win at Pocono today. It’s probably the biggest thing there since the Prosper Fishing Derby! There are a lot of NASCAR fans there and I bet some new ones were made today.”
