Homestead Miami Unviles Mobile App

Homestead-Miami Speedway today announced the availability of a mobile application and mobile website for fans.  Track President Matthew Becherer made the announcement.

“We’re constantly seeking new and creative ways to deliver information to our loyal racing fans,” said Becherer.  “This launch comes on the eve of three days of championship racing in South Florida.  Randall Hoppe and the marketing department have worked hard on these projects, and we’re very confident that our fans will be thrilled at how easy it is to access key information, whether they are doing so at the track or from thousands of miles away.”

The application, which is free and available now for iPhone and Android devices, allows users to receive alerts directly from the speedway, including information for fans planning to attend to Ford Championship Weekend, where champions will be crowned in each of NASCAR’s top three series.

Through its Interactive GPS facility map with search capabilities, fans will be able to find the nearest restrooms, places to eat, souvenir trailers and more.   Fans will also be able to customize their race experience through a daily track schedule. Other features include detailed maps that help navigate parking, on-site trams, concessions, and the infield  The app will also provide general information including:  driving and walking directions, parking, first aid, will call and ATM locations.

Fans that go to the recently-revamped www.homesteadmiamispeedway.com via a mobile device will automatically be directed to the new mobile site.  The mobile site mirrors that of the newly-launched site of the South Florida track.
