Martinsville Truck Race Has New Name

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway on October 29 has a new name.

The race is now the Texas Roadhouse 200 presented by Alpha Energy Solutions.

“Alpha Energy Solutions has enjoyed a great partnership with Texas Roadhouse for several years across multiple states,” said Gerry Lewis, Director of Sales for Alpha Energy Solutions. “During the Alpha Energy Solutions 250 weekend at Martinsville Speedway in April, we stayed next to the construction site of a new Texas Roadhouse in Roanoke that will be opening soon. We had such a great experience at Martinsville Speedway, so we decided to approach Texas Roadhouse to join us for the fall race. We are thrilled to share the excitement the Texas Roadhouse 200 Presented by Alpha Energy Solutions will add to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series chase for the championship.”

“We’re excited to welcome Texas Roadhouse as part of the Martinsville Speedway race weekend,” Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell said. “When Alpha Energy Solutions told us they were interested in bringing Texas Roadhouse onboard, we were thrilled. It goes to show the value that companies see in not only NASCAR, but Martinsville as well.”

Texas Roadhouse is an casual dining chain that with 485 restaurants in 49 states.

“We were delighted to be chosen by our long-time vendor partner, Alpha Energy Solutions, to be the title sponsor of the Texas Roadhouse 200,” said Travis Doster, spokesperson for Louisville-based Texas Roadhouse restaurants. “We are also proud that fellow-Louisville native driver of the No. 41Tundra, Ben Rhodes, will be representing Texas Roadhouse during the race.”

The Texas Roadhouse 200 presented by Alpha Energy Solutions is part of the Goody’s Fast Relief 500 race weekend and marks the first race of the Round of 6 in the Camping World Truck Series Chase.
