Officials with the Southern Modified Race Tour have canceled the event scheduled for Friday, May 20 at Kingsport Speedway due to the forecast of rain.
“Travel for everyone and the strong possibility of, at the best, damp and probably rainy weather makes for a bad event for the teams and fans,” said Randy Myers, series director.
The Southern Modified Race Tour is looking at the possibility of rescheduling the race for a later date this season.
