Lonesome Pine Raceway is set to return to action this Saturday, May 14.
Saturday night’s event will be only the second race of the 2016 season at the 0.375-mile oval.
Highlighting the night will be the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model Stock division for twin 35-lap features. Also taking on the high banks will be Modified Street, Pure 4, Mod 4, Pure Street, Bandeleros, and Legend Cars divisions.
Grandstand gates open Saturday at 4:00 PM, qualifying is set for 6:00 PM, and the first green flag waves at 7:00 PM. Adult admission is $10, and children 12-and-under are admitted free.
Race fans will also have the opportunity to catch racing on Friday night, as Kingsport (Tennessee) Speedway hosts Shriners Night at the Races at 8:00 PM.
