As Martinsville prepares for the upcoming TUMS Fast Relief 500, select Walmart stores near the Martinsville Speedway will host exclusive NASCAR fan events through its new Race Time program starting Oct. 26. Customers are invited to attend these special events and enjoy real stock racing car displays and racing simulator machines – perfect to safely get behind the wheel and feel the power of NASCAR – Oct. 26-29 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
“We’ve found that nearly nine out of 10 NASCAR fans chose to shop at Walmart(1),” said Gregory Bradley, Walmart market manager. “We wanted to provide Martinsville race fans with unbelievable savings on NASCAR tickets and merchandise and unique Race Time experiences that you can only find at Walmart.”

In addition to the fan events happening in Walmart parking lots and storefronts, Walmart stores will feature incredible prices on NASCAR merchandise during the racing season such as T-shirts, racing flags, and tailgating food and beverages with even more selection of exclusive product on Walmart.com/NASCAR.
Local radio station WAKG will be at Walmart Store #1465 in Danville broadcasting remotely on Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
