Advanced Price Ticket Offer for Talladega Superspeedway’s GEICO 500 & Talladega 300 Ends April 1st

Only two weeks remain for NASCAR fans to save up to $10 on Advanced Pricing tickets for the upcoming GEICO 500 and Talladega 300 at the Most Competitive track on the planet – Talladega Superspeedway.

April Fools’ Day, Friday, April 1, is the final opportunity to purchase Advanced Priced tickets for the exciting GEICO 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, which is set for Sunday, May 1, and the Talladega 300 NASCAR XFINITY Series event, which gets the green flag on Saturday, April 30. No foolin’, it’s no joke! Below are the ticket pricing options available:

Advanced ticket pricing options available include:

  • $10 off regular pricing for the GEICO 500 set for 12:00 PM CDT (Sunday, May 1)
  • $5 off regular pricing for Saturday, April 30, which features NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series qualifying as well as the running of the Talladega 300 set for 2:00 PM CDT.
  • Two-day ticket packages for both Saturday and Sunday start at only $50!

“If fans want to see constant two- and three-wide racing with countless passing for the lead throughout the field, then our upcoming weekend at Talladega is the place,” said Talladega Superspeedway Chairman Grant Lynch. “We are excited to offer our advanced pricing discounted rates to our fans so that they can go ahead and make their plans to be a part of these much anticipated events.”

History could be made at Talladega during the weekend as well. If Dale Earnhardt, Jr. can win the GEICO 500, he will join David Pearson, as the only other driver to win consecutive GEICO 500s (spring NSCS events at TSS) on two different occasions. Earnhardt, Jr. pulled off the feat in 2002-2003 while Pearson, The Silver Fox, actually pulled off the feat during his three straight back-to-back-to-back victories from 1972-74.

For kids 12-and-under, all grandstand and tower seats are free for Saturday’s activities. On Sunday, all kids’ tickets are $50 off the regular adult price, including as low as $10 in certain grandstands.

Anyone holding a Sunday admission ticket for the GEICO 500 will have access to the traditional Saturday Night Infield Concert, located in the heart of Talladega’s infamous infield.

The weekend kicks off on Friday, April 29, with a full day of practice for the GEICO 500, Talladega 300 as well as the traditional ARCA Racing Series’ General Tire 200, which will get a green flag at 5 p.m. CDT
