Tired of staying indoors? Restless after enduring another Chicago winter? Route 66 Raceway has the cure as it hosts AMSOIL Championship Snocross March 4-5 during the Hollywood Casino Snocross National presented by Hayes Brake. Fans attending the event can expect plenty of action, both on and off the man-made powder track.
Four Seasons Heating & Cooling Warm-Up Zone
If there’s a place to be while not watching the high-flying action, there’s no doubt it’s the Four Seasons Heating & Cooling Warm-Up Zone. The Warm-Up Zone is the quintessential backstage pass to this year’s AMSOIL Championship Snocross, featuring an array of interactive sponsor displays, one-of-a-kind merchandise, the latest snowmobile models and accessories and the opportunity to meet the stars of the sport, including 10-time X-Games Gold Medalist Tucker Hibbert.
Autograph Session
In addition to Hibbert, fans will have the opportunity to meet with numerous other athletes. Stars such as Logan Christian, Ross Martin, Kyle Pallin and Joliet, IL-native, Ian Buchman, will sign autographs during an exclusive autograph session on Saturday, March 5 from 3:15 – 4:15 p.m.
Kids’ Zone and Activities
The Kids’ Zone is the place to be for all young snowmobile fans from noon – 8 p.m. Children can take part in the action by test driving one of our youth-sized – 120cc snowmobiles.
Route 66 Raceway mascot, Dash the Cheetah, will also attend the event and snap photos with fans young and old. Look for Dash on both Friday and Saturday, March 4-5, 4:30 – 5 p.m.
Pit Passes
Any and all spectators have the opportunity to purchase pit passes through ISOC on race day for only $10. Obtaining pit access is a great way to get up close to your favorite riders and watch the crews prepare their snowmobiles for action.
Fireworks and After Parties
Each night firework shows will accompany opening and closing ceremonies. Following the action, join riders, crew members and fellow fans at Hollywood Casino Joliet immediately following the event to eat, drink, and celebrate victories! Friday night, March 4, features entertainment by band Hubie Ashcraft while Saturday night, March 5 will feature “Howl at the Moon,” a dueling piano show full of singing, dancing and multi-instrumentalists performing classic hits, sing-alongs and more.
