Conor Daly Joins Rette-Jones Racing at Mid-Ohio

Rette-Jones Racing announced Wednesday that Conor Daly will join the team at Mid-Ohio piloting their No. 30 Ford entry. Daly, widely known for racing in the NTT INDYCAR Series, becomes the third driver to step behind the wheel of the No. 30 entry behind Justin Bonsignore and Frankie Muniz in 2024.

In a team release, Daly says he is excited about the opportunity at Mid-Ohio this weekend.

“Very excited to finally make my ARCA debut with Rette Jones Racing,” said Daly. “This opportunity came up pretty last minute, but I love Mid-Ohio and really enjoy racing there. I’ve have raced a Truck there and so I have a little bit of heavy car experience there.”

Daly has three NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts with one of those at Mid-Ohio, where he tied his best career finish of 18th last season. In the eight NTT INDYCAR Series starts at the road course, the Indiana native captured two top 10 finishes.

“I have run well in an IndyCar there in the past,” Daly later said. “Excited for this chance. Excited to see what this series is all about. I have a lot to learn obviously.”

Daly will not be the only driver in the field with NTT INDYCAR Series experience on Friday. Marco Andretti will continue adding to his stock car resume behind the wheel of the No. 17 entry for owner Bruce Cook.
