Tickets are now on sale for NASCAR’s 2025 season opener the DAYTONA 500, with GRAMMY® award winning artist Armando Christian Pérez, Pitbull, returning as the pre-race show ahead of the 67th running of The Great American Race.

“Daytona International Speedway hosts some of the biggest races in the motorsport world, and we’re always eager to start preparing to welcome fans from all over to one of our greatest events, the DAYTONA 500,” said Frank Kelleher, President of Daytona International Speedway. “From the undeniable competition we’ve seen across the sport to the recent rebranding that embraces the grandeur of The Great American Race, we look forward to all that’s to come in the 2025 DAYTONA 500.”

Daytona International Speedway recently released a new logo design for the coveted DAYTONA 500 that ties in the intricate history of the famed race. The new logo replicates the coveted Harley J. Earl Trophy presented to the winner of the DAYTONA 500, named after the renowned automotive designer and the second commissioner of NASCAR, representing the tradition and excitement that’s only found in NASCAR’s season opener.

This past February, fans witnessed some of that thrilling competition that only happens at DAYTONA after the race was postponed to Monday following a rain delay. After a chaotic restart on lap 197 of 200, William Byron took the checkered flag, earning his first DAYTONA 500 victory and kicking off Hendrick Motorsports’ 40th anniversary with a win.

In addition to the race postponement, the weather on Sunday unfortunately resulted in the cancellation of Pitbull’s pre-race show; however, Mr. Worldwide himself agreed to return for the 2025 DAYTONA 500 to play his international chart toppers at The World Center of Racing.

Fans can purchase Hard Rock Bet Fanzone & Pre-Race Access for an up-close view of Pitbull’s show, getting the crowd electrified before the first NASCAR race of the 2025 season.

Though fans will have to wait until next year for the 67th running of The Great American Race, taking place on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025, NASCAR racing will be back at Daytona International Speedway in just a couple months.

The Coke Zero Sugar 400 race weekend returns on Aug. 23-24, in the penultimate race of the 2024 regular season, where those in attendance can witness all the intensity of Superspeedway racing at DAYTONA.
