NASCAR, Duck Commander 500 to be featured on tonight’s episode of Duck Dynasty

NASCAR and April’s Duck Commander 500 Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway will be featured during tonight’s episode of the ever-popular reality series “Duck Dynasty” on the A&E Network.

 
The eighth episode of the eighth season of “Duck Dynasty” titled “Pit Perfect” will highlight the running of the Duck Commander 500 won by Jimmie Johnson on Saturday, April 11, that also included seven members of the Robertson family in honorary positions. Those that took part were Willie Robertson (crowd welcome, trophy presenter), Phil Robertson (Honorary Starter), Si Robertson (Grand Marshal), Jase Robertson (top-10 driver introductions), Sadie Robertson (invocation), Alan Robertson (honorary pace car driver) and Reed Robertson (National Anthem singer).
 
Tonight’s storyline centers on Duck Commander sponsoring the race as Jase and the guys get in the mood by attempting to work as a pit crew and Uncle Si fills his need for speed by driving a stock car. Duck Commander, the brand of the best-selling duck calls and name of the thriving family-owned company led by the Robertson clan of “Duck Dynasty” fame, is in the second year of a three-year deal as title sponsor of the annual spring NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.
