Kansas Speedway Announces National Anthem Performers for Oct. 7 – Oct. 9 Weekend

Kansas Speedway officials announced their national anthem singers for the upcoming Kansas Lottery 98.9, Kansas Lottery 300 and Hollywood Casino 400.

Up and coming artist Tammie Davis will sing the national anthem for the Kansas Lottery 98.9 on Oct. 7, new Curb Recording artist Rachel Holder will perform the anthem prior to the Kansas Lottery 300 on Oct. 8 and new Curb Recording artist Tim Dugger will sing the national anthem prior to the Hollywood Casino 400 on Oct. 9.

Investing her talents as a vocalist and pianist in the service of her country, Davis was a U.S. Marine Sergeant and Musician while stationed at the Marine Corps Base Quantico. For her outstanding service and patriotism, she was awarded The Navy Achievement Medal. Davis has also been named the 2011 Carolina Music Awards Female Vocalist of the Year. Davis’ debut single “Tall Dark and Lonesome” charted for 13 weeks.

Holder is a Tennessee native, who is currently making the rounds at radio stations across the country. Her videos are currently available on YouTube.

Dugger is no stranger to NASCAR, having performed at several tracks this season. The Alabama native’s video for his single “Sunday Drive” is available on YouTube, which includes Richard Childress Racing’s Austin Dillon.

Holder and Dugger will play a post race concert showcasing their music for fans following the Kansas Lottery 300 on Oct. 8 in the Display Midway.
