Grandview Speedway Presents Two – t.p. Trailer NASCAR Modified Features Saturday, Kubota High Limit 410 Sprints on Tuesday

Let’s try this again, double the action this Saturday!

Following yet another rain out this past Saturday night, the third time in the last four weeks, Grandview Speedway officials have prepared a big and exciting menu of racing action for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend at the one-third-of-a-mile high banked speedway.

The holiday weekend will see TWO – T.P. Trailer Modified features on Saturday, and the only appearance of the season for the Kubota High Limit Racing 410 Sprint Cars on Tuesday, May 28.

The race program for last Saturday was May 18 was to include double features for the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds, one being a postponed event from May 11, and the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman. Management will now present that very same program this coming Saturday, May 25 to kick off the holiday weekend.

The race program on Saturday, May 25 will be featuring the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman, participating in qualifying events for both divisions leading into the 30-lap Modified main event and a 25-lap Sportsman feature race. The 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature held-over from May 11 will be added to this show along with the first visit of the year for the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars.

The held-over T.P. Trailer Modified feature will be the first Modified event during the program, so fans need to arrive early so as not to miss any of the double-feature race action.

All of this action will be conducted for the regular admission prices, with adult grandstand admission at $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

Pit gates will open at 3:30 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 4:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 5:30 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 6:30 pm.

This Saturday night prior to the racing program will be the Low Down and Dirty meet and greet hosted once again by Whippy and Jennifer Umbenhauer. The drivers scheduled to participate include Modified driver and defending Track Champion Brett Kressley, along with Sportsman drivers TJ Mayberry and Zane Roth.

The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the main gate area from 4-5 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers up close, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway.

The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman feature which was rained out on May 11th will be added to the Saturday, June 1 race event in addition to a completely new two-division program of T.P. Trailer Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman getting underway at the traditional 7:30 pm summer starting time.

The final race for the month of May is the first Thunder on the Hill Racing Series program of the year as Levan Machine & Truck Equipment presents the RichMar Florist Midweek Money Series Kubota High Limit Racing 410 Sprint Cars on Tuesday, May 28 starting at 7:30 pm with a rain date of Wednesday, May 29.

The program will feature the Kubota High Limit Racing 410 Sprint Car drivers participating in time trials and qualifying races leading into the 35-lap $20,000 to win feature race.

Pioneer Pole Buildings has posted a $2000 bonus should the winner be a Pennsylvania driver.

Pennsylvania drivers looking for the bonus include Danny Dietrich, Brent Marks, Freddie Rahmer, Anthony Macri, TJ Stutts, Tim Buckwalter, Kyle Reinhardt, Lance Dewease, Tyler Ross, Kyle Moody, Ryan Taylor, Tyler Esh, and Ryan Smith to name a few.

Some of the top High Limit drivers who will be leading the charge into Grandview Speedway in pursuit of the $20,000 winner’s paycheck will be the likes of Tyler Courtney, Brad Sweet, Spencer Bayston, Corey Day, Tanner Thorson, James McFadden, Justin Peck, Parker Price Miller, and Cory Eliason.

On Tuesday, May 28 the turn one gate will open at 4 pm for advance ticket holders, while general admission tickets go on sale at 4:30 pm. Qualifying begins at 7:30 pm.

Adult grandstand tickets are $40, children 6-11 are $20, while kids 5 and under are free. Pit admission is $45, and no license is required. Advanced grandstand tickets for this event are available at www.tickethoss.com. and also at the Speedway this coming Saturday night until 7 pm.

F&L doors will be sponsoring the Vintage Modified and Sportsman cars who will also join the racing program participating in a 15-lap feature event only.
