Hertz Equipment Rental Corporation (HERC) has reached a multi-year agreement with Sonoma Raceway to serve as Official Equipment Rental company of the wine country facility.
Founded in 1965, HERC has been one of the industry leaders for almost 50 years. HERC prides itself on having one of the strongest fleet mixes in the equipment and entertainment rental industry, with a product line that includes everything from small, handheld tools and supplies to large earthmoving and aerial equipment. Sonoma Raceway will utilize HERC equipment for general facility maintenance, construction support and drag strip maintenance. HERC will also provide equipment services for all major race events.
“Being selected as Sonoma Raceway’s preferred equipment and temporary power provider for five years is a key strategic win for the HERC equipment and entertainment industry,” said Stan Bender, entertainment account representative, Hertz Equipment and Entertainment Services. “We look forward to fostering excellent customer service as this is an important focus of our business.”
Sonoma Raceway will make extensive use of HERC products and services for its events and day-to-day operations. HERC’s agreement will provide them with a highly-visible presence at the raceway, promotional rights, trackside signage, hospitality and other assets during major event weekends.
