Dillon Motor Speedway Prepares For Action-Packed Weekend

On Saturday, May 23, Dillon Motor Speedway will host the Herald Office Systems 200.

This weekend will be the first event of the season that’ll include both, Late Models and Super Trucks. The Late Models will be competing for $1,200, and the Pee Dee Coastal Super Truck Series will compete for $1,000 as they make their first visit of the season to the speedway. Other divisions that’ll be competing include the Chargers, Street Stocks and Pure Stock Fours.

Bobby Gower will be going for three wins in a row in the Late Models. Hal Goodson won the season opener for the Pee Dee Coastal Super Truck Series at Myrtle Beach Speedway earlier this month. Brian Owens will try to make it back-to-back wins in the Charger division, and Ricky Locklair Jr. will also be going for two wins in a row in the Street Stock division. In the Pure Stock Four division, JR Moore will look to claim a career high of three wins in a row.

Grandstand tickets are only $12, and kids 11 years old and younger enter the gates for free. Seniors and military receive a $2 discount.

Gates will open at 1 p.m., followed by practice at 3:30 p.m. and then qualifying. Racing will start at 7:30 p.m.
