Driver Appearances, Jet Car Exhibition, VIP Experiences and Classic Car Showcase All Add to the Entertainment of NHRA 4-Wide Nationals

When the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals return to zMAX Dragway, fans will be treated to a one-of-a-kind display of unprecedented horsepower, blistering speeds and nitro-fueled excitement as the best drag racers in the world compete for a coveted Wally at the Bellagio of drag strips. Off the track, fans will also be treated to special driver appearances, junior dragster exhibitions, VIP race experiences and a classic car showcase.

Top Eliminator Club Gets Fans Closer to Their Favorite Drivers

Fans who upgrade their race ticket to the Top Eliminator Club package will get to meet some of the biggest names in the sport. Don Schumacher Racing teammates Antron Brown and Tony Schumacher will greet fans in the mezzanine of the John Force Grandstands on Friday. John Force, Courtney Force, Jack Beckman and Tommy Johnson Jr. will fill out Saturday’s card, while Erica Enders-Stevens will greet fans before Sunday’s eliminations.

In addition to driver Q&As, Top Eliminator Club members get two meals with meal tickets, a limited-edition t-shirt, customize hard card with lanyard, free VIP parking and access to the VIP rooftop viewing area.

Junior Dragsters and Jet Cars Fire Up the Fun

In addition to 10,000-horsepower dragsters, fans will be treated to a display of up-and-coming NHRA talent and fire-breathing jet cars during the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals weekend. On Friday and Saturday nights, the fan-favorite jet cars will make passes down the quarter-mile concrete strip, while Junior Dragsters are slated to make exhibition runs on Saturday and Sunday.

Speedway Children’s Charities Offers VIP Experiences

For the most diehard race fans, the Charlotte chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities is offering once-in-a-lifetime VIP race day experiences to support its efforts to serve children in need. VIP experiences include the chance to ride in a two-seat dragster at more than 100mph, get a behind-the-scenes look at pre-race ceremonies before drivers take to the track or ride in the Mello Yello Express and sit trackside in the Mello Yello pit box. Lucky winners of the Ultimate VIP auction will win four suite tickets, a meet-and-greet with 16-time Funny Car champion John Force, and VIP tours of the dragway tower, ESPN TV compound and broadcast booth.

Classic Car Showcase Returns Saturday and Sunday

Fans are encouraged to get to the dragway early on Saturday and Sunday as zMAX Dragway will once again host a classic car showcase down the main entrance of the drag strip as part of AutoFair Appreciation Weekend. Owned by car club members who will showcase their classics, customs, muscle cars and hot rods during the Charlotte AutoFair April 9-12, these candy-colored machines are sure to attract a lot of attention.
